Who This Course Is Ideal For
This course is particularly well suited for parents who would prefer a complete antenatal course in a single day rather than attending weekly sessions.
It may be especially helpful if:
• You would prefer a single day course rather than committing to several evening classes
• Your partner or birth partner may find it difficult to attend multiple weekly sessions
• You have a busy work schedule and weekends are easier to plan around
• You are approaching the later weeks of pregnancy and would like a comprehensive preparation session before your baby arrives
• You are looking for a small, relaxed group environment where there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions
• You would value meeting other parents who are expecting babies around a similar time
• You would like clear, balanced information to help you feel calmer and more confident about birth and early parenthood
Whether this is your first baby or a subsequent pregnancy, the course provides practical guidance, space for discussion, and supportive preparation for the transition into life with your new baby.
Choosing the Right Course for You
At Nurturing Maternity Support we offer two antenatal course formats, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your schedule and learning style.
5 Week Antenatal Course
Weekly evening sessions
5 sessions (2 hours each)
Time to reflect between sessions
Build connections with other parents over several weeks
Gradual learning and discussion each week
Suitable for parents who enjoy learning over time
One Day Antenatal Intensive
Complete course in one relaxed day
Full day course (9am – 4:30pm)
Ideal for busy parents
Small supportive group
Covers the same key topics in a condensed format
Perfect if evening classes are difficult to attend
Both options cover the same key areas including labour, birth preparation, partner support, pain relief options, newborn behaviour and the early postnatal weeks.
If you would prefer to prepare for birth in a single focused day, the one-day intensive course may be the perfect option.

✔ A warm and welcoming environment
✔ Clear, balanced information to help them make informed choices
✔ Practical techniques that partners can actively support with
✔ The opportunity to meet other local parents expecting babies around the same time
